1713 Pope Clemens XI publishes decree "Unigenitus" which I think is a rule about having one testicle. My Latin isn’t very good.
1868 New York Athletic Club forms. The t-shirt industry cranks up later.

1930 Richard Drew creates Scotch tape
1943 General Eisenhower announces unconditional surrender of Italy in WWII

1975 US Air Force Tech Sergeant Leonard Matlovich, a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War, appears in his Air Force uniform on the cover of Time magazine with the headline "I Am A Homosexual." He is later given a general discharge
1986 Surprisingly, Westinghouse sells Muzak instead of being forced to give it away for free
